Well, I have! *giggles*While passing by the fields of Denebe this afternoon I was greeted by the warm setting sun. The warm feeling made me stop for a bit to feast my eyes on the field painted in gold. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.. choked..arg! is that carcass I smell? yuck! For a few seconds I forgot that monsters dwell here and the Heroes of Hellion are on a quest to eliminate them. *sigh!* so much for an afternoon of sight seeing.

Event Proper

Dear Fearless Warriors,

Last night, most of the powerful +7 weapons from Loa and Braiken castles were stolen and now the town is defenseless from the forces of darkness. Evil is upon us so we need to fortify our defenses. The town needs many fearless warriors to show up with their +7 weapons to help protect the town from imminent danger.

We, Pablos and Axion, the town's blacksmiths, can help fortify your weapons and will even give everyone who succeeds with an extra +7 weapon.

So gear up and get ready to fight!

How to join:

1. Fortify any weapon+0 between levels 1 - 115 to +7 at any town from blacksmiths (Pablos in Loa Castle, Axion in Braiken Castle) during the event period.

2. Fill out the form on the link (to be provided on January 20). This event information to go up on our website (dekaron.mobiusgames.net) on January 19 (this Monday)!

Prize

Prize: Weapon+7 one level bracket higher than what you upgraded

To be inserted: On or before February 13, 2009

If you succeed in fortifying a weapon from +0 to +7 within the event period, we'll do better than match it! The prize for successfully upgrading a weapon to +7 will be a weapon of the same kind in the next level bracket!

For example: If you successfully upgrade a level 85 one-handed staff from +0 to +7 within the event period, you will receive a level 95 one-handed staff+7 as your prize!

*Note: The level cap for weapon prizes is 115. So even if you upgrade a weapon level 115 from +0 to +7, your prize will still be a level 115 weapon+7.

**Note: The prize will always be normal, no magic options. The number of sockets on the prize will match the number of sockets on the weapon you upgraded.

FAQs

Q: What weapon can I upgrade? 

A: You can upgrade any weapon, with any number of sockets, with any number of magic options on it. The only requirement is that it be between level 1-115, and must be +0 at the start of the event period.

Note that even if the weapon you upgrade has magic options, the prize will have no magic options. The number of sockets on the prize will match those in the weapon you upgraded, and the upgrade level will, of course, be +7.

Q: Will I have to turn in the weapon I upgraded in order to qualify for a prize?

A: No, the weapon you upgraded is yours entirely. You will, however, need to have it stored on your account up to February 13 so that we can see and check on it, and then insert your prize.

Q: How do I register for the event?

A: There is no need to register. All you have to do is upgrade any weapon+0 (between level 1 - 115) to +7 during the event period (January 19 - February 1). Once you've successfully done so, all you need to do is visit www.mobiusonline.net at a link we will be providing here and on websites on Tuesday (January 20). You'll just need to fill out the needed information (character name and weapon upgraded) and you're set!

Q: If I have a weapon that's already +5, can I upgrade it to +7 during the event duration and qualify for a prize?

A: We're sorry, but no. You need to start from +0 and bring it up to +7 during the event in order to qualify.

Announcements

1) Osterra Maintenance

Osterra will be closed for maintenance from 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM tomorrow, Thursday, January 08, 2009.

The other servers will still be open as usual.

2) Bonus Coins

The 12 Days of Christmas may be over, but the cash bonuses are not!  Grab this chance to get one last round of bonus game cash and coins from Dekaron, GONG!, and Rakion!  Cash bonus promo extended till: January 16, 2009.

3) 12 Days of Christmas Winners

Notification emails will be sent to winners on or before January 09, 2009.  Winners have until January 15, 2009 to choose their prizes according to the emailed instructions.

Winners who have already had their prizes inserted will receive another email from us, and have 30 days to retrieve their prizes from in-game mailboxes.

4) Colored Guild Names

Please be advised that the use of colored fonts in guild names is prohibited in Dekaron SEA for the following reasons: 

• Guild names with colors (using HTML prefixes) will cause complications on the upcoming guild premium services and programs like Rankings and Dekarian Lords.
  
• Possible technical issues might occur during the Siege Battle procedures and other in-game guild events.

Guilds formed in such a manner will be renamed on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, during the weekly server maintenance.  Do note that these guilds will be renamed and not disbanded to maintain guild information like guild level, adventure points, member ranks and guild announcements.  Initial list will be released within the week for those who will be renamed.

Succeeding guilds that continue to use colored fonts will be renamed without prior notice.  Furthermore, these guilds will be excluded from participating in any guild-related events and services in the future.
